Accurate and reliable weather information is essential for every boater.  While the internet provides a plethora of animated forecasts, there’s actually no substitute for localised pressure trend information from an instrument measuring, most importantly, air pressure, but also temperature and humidity information. Rapid changes in barometric pressure are a sure sign of impending weather changes, and as the expression goes, forewarned is forearmed!

Digital Yacht’s EnviroLINK device brings traditional barometric pressure, temperature, and humidity monitoring to the digital age with NMEA 2000 connectivity for your multifunction display (MFD) as well as wireless smartphone and tablet connectivity. MFDs are offering more and more capabilities thanks to NMEA 2000 connectivity, so one display on the boat can become an information hub.

EnviroLINK is also easy to install, taking power from the boat’s NMEA 2000 network and feeding data to displays. It just needs one simple cable connection. Most modern electronic multi function displays can display this data, but you can also utilise EnviroLINK’s wireless interface with a tablet or phone and display a 10 minute, 24 hour or 48 hour historical analysis.

Trends in temperature and humidity are also recorded. Data is collected and stored locally using a precision sensor so there’s no internet connection needed and no proprietary apps require installing. EnviroLINK operates autonomously on your boat providing the best insight to local weather.
